After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Kazakh republic also adopted the methods for determining (technical tests) the quality control of the products typical of the former Gost regulation of the USSR with the establishment of the Gost-K state standard.
The release of these documents is entrusted to agencies and technical laboratories authorized and accredited by KAZMEMST (КАЗМЕМСТ).
The types of Gost-K certificates reflect the spirit and methodology of the Gost-R certifications of the Russian Federation and therefore are by way of example, summarized as follows:
- Gost-K for single delivery (Однаразовый Сертификат)
- Gost-K 1 year (1-Годичный Сертификат)
- Gost-K 3 year (3-годиный Сертификат)
The certificate for each delivery is actually issued on the basis of a contract with the importer for products and precise quantities, ie those covered by the purchase contract. In this type of certification the importer and the customs code (HS) of the goods to be imported are indicated, once the "contracted" quantity has been used up the Gost-K lapses and ceases its validity.
The annual Gost-K certification is instead issued for series production normally on a document basis and therefore without audit control and / or subsequent checks. This certificate indicates the customs code of the product and describes the series of the models in order to facilitate identification.
The triennial, however, represents compliance with the Kazake regulations, we say more complete, even if, bureaucratically and economically, the most complex. The manufacturing company will receive a visit from Kazakh inspectors to check the production methodology in order to determine, especially for particularly "delicate" goods that the production standard does not undergo variations in the validity of the certificate.
